STS received 2248 requests for public information in 2020

State Tax Service of Ukraine received 2248 requests for public information during January – December 2020.

Of the total number, 418 requests were received by mail, 1740 by e-mail and 90 by the requester in person.

The biggest number of requests for public information was sent by individuals, namely 1440 requests. The number of 634 requests for public information was received from legal entities in 2020. The number of 101 requests was received from associations of citizens without the status of a legal entity and 73 from the mass media representatives.

According to consideration results: 1328 requests were satisfied with the provision of information, 347 requests were refused due to the non-compliance of requests with the Law of Ukraine as of 13.01.2011 №2939-IV “On access to public information” and 573 requests were sent back as inappropriate.
